Brent began his financial career at another investment management firm in 1999, and joined Merrill Lynch in 2008. He focuses on helping clients design and implement long-term wealth management strategies, with particular emphasis on retirement income planning, and on estate and wealth transfer concerns.

Brent holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM certification, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

An avid golfer, Brent is a member of the Bay Hill, Isleworth and Secession Golf Clubs. He helped to establish the Core Values Cup for First Tee of Central Florida, a youth program that seeks to develop life skills through golf. Brent is also active in his church. He lives with his wife, Amy, and their children, Brent Jr., Julia and Sarah, in Windermere.
