Grant has focused on building strong client relationships from the beginning of his business career. He has more than a decade of financial services experience and held the position of vice president at another investment firm prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2010. Before entering the financial services sector, Grant worked in the steel industry for 18 years and was regional vice president of a commodities firm that traded ferrous and nonferrous metals.

Grant played college-level golf and basketball and is a member of the Oakmont Country Club. The Mellon family has direct experience with the needs of people with epilepsy, and Grant has served on the board of directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Pennsylvania.
