About us

Celenza & Associates

Based in Los Angeles, Celenza & Associates is a wealth management team that provides multi-family office capabilities to high net worth individuals, families, and their businesses. We work with a select number of clients, limiting our engagements to those families and individuals who can most benefit from our offerings. Throughout our multi-decade careers, we have worked exclusively with ultra-affluent clients. As a result, we are particularly attuned to the challenges, opportunities, nuances, and complexities that accompany substantial wealth. We invite prospective clients to learn more about the factors that differentiate our team. We believe strongly that there is no substitute for experience, and we welcome you to gauge the potential impact of our knowledge, skills, and resources on your financial life and those of succeeding generations.

Focused on Client Priorities

The hallmark of our approach is customization. From investment management through wealth transfer, we create detailed financial strategies that reflect the priorities, timelines, and special circumstances of each family. We recognize that customization derives from in-depth knowledge. We spend significant time with clients learning about the many factors that impact their financial outlook: their lifestyle needs, long-term goals, cash-flow requirements, family priorities, and philanthropic outlook. We use this discovery process to create a customized approach that guides a coordinated and informed effort across our team. Together, we work to leverage the firm’s broad resources and focused capabilities to advance client interests.

A Tailored Investment Approach

The clients we work with have institutional-size assets, but personal priorities. In our investment management initiatives, we embrace the best practices of institutional investors. We create detailed investment goals and objectives for clients that guide our long-term approach. We also position client accounts to take advantage of the institutional pricing and access. Most important, we recognize that affluent clients, like institutions, are generally conservative in their appetite for risk. We appreciate the fact that wealth preservation, prudent growth, income, cash flow, and efficiency are a client’s chief investment priorities. We draw upon the extensive global resources and open architecture of Merrill Lynch in identifying, evaluating, and integrating strategies, wherever they are housed.

Differentiating Services

Our team offers a combination of breadth, depth, and longevity. We have worked together since 2003. Client referrals and retention are the best testimonials to our ingrained service ethic and unswerving focus on client needs. We built our team to respond to the particular requirements of significant wealth. For example, we offer customized credit and private banking services for individuals and their businesses, making it easier for clients to pursue a cohesive financial strategy across business and personal lines. We also offer guidance on trust and estate-planning strategies, streamlining the efficiency with which we integrate our efforts with those of a client’s external tax and legal advisors. Whatever the issue, we seek out the best way to do things so that we are continually advancing client interests and cementing our value.
