Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, we are a wealth management team that works with a select number of highly successful individuals and families. The financial issues we address are as varied as the families we serve. We begin our engagements by gaining a deep understanding of the priorities, concerns, and aspirations of our client families. And we never lose sight of that foundation, engaging in ongoing discussions as families and financial conditions change. We develop long-term relationships with clients, becoming deeply ingrained in their lives and the lives of those they care about. In all of our efforts, we look to provide clients with sophisticated, robust, and thoughtful strategies that significant wealth requires. We are firmly grounded in client goals, and more telling, results. At the same time, we recognize that wealth is defined by more than balance sheets and reports, encompassing the people and outcomes that clients deem most important.

    Our team operates within the Private Banking and Investment Group (PBIG) at Merrill Lynch, an elite division within the Firm that caters to the demands of significant wealth. As a PBIG team, we provide access to resources and opportunities that are specially designated for PBIG clients, such as institutional-caliber research, educational opportunities, and client events. Moreover, we integrate the offerings of designated specialists who offer in-depth advice and guidance. Our leader, Shirley Quackenbush, has more than three decades of experience in financial services. Her network of relationships, both within Merrill Lynch and the wider financial community, enables us to expedite answers, leverage capabilities, and enhance the client experience.

    Our team uses a detailed wealth management process that we have honed over many years. Because we exclusively serve affluent clients, we are intimately familiar with the issues they encounter: personal, professional, and philanthropic.
