The Nuwayhid Group is a wealth management team located in Boston that caters to the needs of current and former corporate executives, business owners and entrepreneurs. As members of the Private Banking & Investment Group at Merrill Lynch we offer clients an elite level of service, strategy, customization and resources. We work with high net worth and ultra high net worth clients who require innovative financial strategies delivered in a highly attentive and personalized manner. Structured as a boutique within Merrill Lynch we combine the resources and capabilities of a truly global firm with the sensibilities and one on one relationships usually found only in smaller organizations.

The Three Pillars of Our Approach

We offer clients an integrated wealth management approach centered on three pillars: I. Goals based planning; II. Investment management and III. Private banking services through Bank of America, N.A. By combining these three elements we help clients pursue the family priorities, professional ambitions and philanthropic aspirations that are most meaningful to them.

I. Goals Based Planning

Our approach is centered around a goals based planning process that is sensitive to the distinctive priorities of each client. This process is not a short lived trend or catch phrase, but the foundation of our team’s approach for nearly 20 years. We spend significant time in client discovery focusing on both qualitative and quantitative issues: client goals, needs, wants, aspirations, assets and liabilities. We then prioritize the components of each client’s financial strategy creating written frameworks that are living documents. We return to a client’s strategic plan at regular intervals adjusting the underlying assumptions and our approach accordingly. Throughout the wealth management process we work with a client’s external tax and legal advisors to coordinate a unified wealth strategy spearheading communication and follow through.

II. Investment Management

Asset allocation is the very core of our team's investment philosophy. We recognize that wealth preservation is a key priority for the clients we serve. We take an institutional perspective on investing seeking to mitigate downside risk through asset allocation, diversification and disciplined rebalancing. Our portfolio allocations reflect a client’s detailed goal analysis, risk tolerance, time horizon, tax situation and liquidity needs.

III. Private Banking Services and Lending

We recognize that wealth is a family pursuit not an individualized experience. We offer a range of private banking services to streamline a family’s wealth management initiatives. Through Bank of America N.A. we offer customized credit and lending helping clients finance residential, business and luxury asset acquisitions. We also provide cash flow analysis, budgeting, tax reporting, wire transfers, bill pay and financial education promoting sound financial strategies for long term wealth preservation across multiple generations. For families with special needs children or family members we offer strategies and services sensitive to the particular challenges and concerns that such families face.

In all of our efforts we seek to help clients enjoy and preserve the wealth that they have worked hard to attain.
