Mr. Tyers was named Head of the Southeast Region, based in Atlanta, after leading the Managed Solutions Group, where he was responsible for all fee-based investment advisory platforms and wealth management tools for Merrill Lynch. He joined the firm as president of the division servicing independent fee-based investment advisors and institutional broker-dealers. He holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst.
